Covent Guardians
Covent Garden London is proud to sponsor the Covent Guardians and welcomes them to the Covent Garden Estate.
The four Guardians are on hand to offer visitors information and advice about the area, 7 days a week, between 12pm and 10pm. The team of four dedicated individuals will also focus on visitor safety, reducing anti-social behaviour and combating illegal street trading.

The Covent Guardians are part of the Enhanced Visitor Experience (EVE) initiative put forward by Covent Garden London to enhance the district. Further initiatives will follow in the near future. The initiative is sponsored by Covent Garden London and the local Ward Councillors, in partnership with the Metropolitan Police and Westminster City Council. The Covent Guardians, who form an official part of the WCC City Guardians team, will be managed on a day-to-day basis by WCC. A similar scheme was introduced by the Heart of London Business Improvement District to cover Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, and has proved to be an invaluable resource for their street management programme.
