2 for 1 Tuesdays on dining and drinking in April 2010
We have a lot to thank America for when it comes to inventions. The aircraft, rock and roll and cornflakes to name just three. Surely their most forward-thinking initiative though, and arguably a true hallmark of a civilised society, is the happy hour.
With that in mind, Covent Garden has announced its own happy hour. Running from 6pm-7pm every Tuesday in April, it offers visitors the chance to enjoy some of the best dining and drinking in WC2 at a keen price. You can get two for one pie and mash deals at Battersea Pie Station and two crepes for one at Creme de la Crepe or enjoy discounted jugs of cocktails and two bottles of Sagres lager for one at Belushi’s. Tuttons are offering two for one on a huge range of desserts including their cheese board, passion fruit pavlova and their hot banana and pecan pie served with a dollop of clotted cream. Tea Palace, Whittards, Ella’s Bakehouse, Chez Gerard, Candy Cakes , Yu-foria and The Upper Deck Café Bar at the London Transport Museum are all offering similarly good deals. There’s never been a better time to enjoy some of the area’s best culinary options.
This promotion was running in April 2010 and is now closed.
