Nick Willoughby is a happy fellow. Since leaving the life of a roaming crepe stallholder to launch his first permanent restaurant, Crème De Le Crepe in the Market Building, this genial MD is constantly abuzz with new ideas to tickle the palates of his loyal crepe-loving customers.

Whether it’s experimenting with new sweet or savoury crepe combinations, from turkey, cheddar, port and cranberry sauce to a moresome mix of Milky Bar and fresh strawberries, Nick is never happier unless he’s pushing the boundaries of crepe filling fantasies.

Now to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day as it’s increasingly better known, Nick will set up a temporary stall on the Piazza, running from 10am – 10pm on Tuesday 16th February, giving passers-by the chance to indulge in the best crepes this side of Paris for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Better still, everyone who buys a crepe from Nick’s stall will receive a voucher entitling them to a free crepe from the Crème de la Crepe restaurant in the Market Building, redeemable on selected days before the end of February.
