Background & Contacts
As part of Liberty International Capital & Counties purchased the Covent Garden estate in 2006 for £421 million. In 2010 Capital & Counties de-merged from Liberty International forming Capital & Counties Properties Group. The estate now comprises almost 750,000 sq.ft with a value approaching £700 million. Covent Garden is one of London’s most exciting public spaces playing host to a range of arts and culture events. From the architectural splendour of its neo-classical covered Market to such world-class arts venues as the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden is a much-loved place. Situated in the heart of London’s West End and attracting almost 45 million visitors a year, it is an area steeped in history dating back to the 16th century.
The Covent Garden London team is based on the Piazza at Covent Garden. As well as a dedicated property team we also have a high profile branding and marketing team focusing upon the district’s unique offering across four areas:
- Heritage & Architecture
- Entertainment & Culture
- Fashion & Retail
- Food & Beverage
