For those whose social calendar doesn’t include an annual visit to the Chelsea Flower Show, you may not be aware of the garden accessories and homeware phenomenon that is Frances Hilary. When it comes to green-fingered goodies, though, it’s about as far from soulless DIY warehouses as it’s possible to get. Besides their regular presence at the Chelsea Flower Show, and the original store in a 400 year old building in York, they also export their high quality British products right across the globe.

Now, with the opening of a flagship store in the Market Building, Covent Garden visitors can pick up gardening, lifestyle, home and horticultural items – from bird boxes to botanical soaps – in the historic heart of London.

The items available are exquisite, and make the perfect Christmas present for those who love the great outdoors. It’s hard for us to pick a favourite, but the cute bumblebee nesting box has definitely caught our eye, as have the handsome garden forks and hand trowels.

Gardening has never looked so good.
