It’s little wonder that fashionistas the world over can’t resist the bijou treats of Ladurée. Their bite-sized macaroons really are irresistible, and totally gorgeous to boot. The French patisserie’s first stand alone London tea salon has been eagerly anticipated by the city’s fashion pack and foodies, so come have a peek.

Never tasted a macaroon? You’re in for a treat. These pretty little baked shells are filled with scrumptious ganache and come in a dizzying myriad of flavours from rose to liquorice. And did we mention how pretty they are? A range of soft and vivid pastel coloured gems, it can feel highly illicit to eat them. Ladurée is more than just macaroons though and this new tea salon offers other sweet treats and a delicious savoury menu alongside a well-sourced range of teas and coffees.

Modelled on a bijou Parisian residence, take tea in the traveller’s tearoom, admire (and then devour!) a cupcake in the artist studio or have some bubbles in the guild-panelled bar. And just in time for the summer, come over all Continental and dine in style on their Piazza facing terrace. Don’t forget your sunglasses.
