Late opening makes it easy for after-work shopping!
Anyone who’s enjoyed a Mediterranean city break will know that there’s something immensely satisfying and, curiously, slightly decadent about perusing shops in the evening. It’s an altogether more relaxed affair for visitors and staff alike and that little bit easier to snap up that must-have item after work.
With that in mind, shopping in Covent Garden is changing as the Market Building and Piazza stores are staying open that bit longer, until 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the run up to Christmas. Stores in the Market Building and by the Royal Opera House are participating. Head to the Crusting Pipe as well where you’ll find regular late night performances on Thursday evenings from the Street Performers.
Whether you’re looking for a unique creation from Kabiri, Carat* or Argenteus jewellery, a classic polo shirt from Original Penguin or a beautifully crafted children’s toy from Eric Snook, there’s ample time to browse. To find out who else is part of the late night shopping initiative, the full list of participating shops is below.
Happy shopping!
