Now that we’re officially in British summertime and the sun’s come out, it’s time to peruse the spring / summer collections at Covent Garden’s boutiques and complete your newly-purchased outfits with some smart, new shades.
Sunglass Hut has made WC2 even more of a one-stop shopping experience with a brand new, 170 square-metre flagship store opening this month on the corner of James Street and Long Acre, opposite Covent Garden Tube station.
The new store stocks a range of the hottest new styles from top luxury brands including Miu Miu, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana, plus regular exclusive and limited edition designs. Its cutting-edge technology is also tackling the biggest dilemma for shoppers wanting to splash out on a new pair of designer shades – a second opinion.
Sunglass Hut’s unique ‘SocialSun’ interactive equipment lets you try on any pair of sunnies and pictures will be displayed on the store’s big screen. These images can then be posted on Facebook to be rated by your friends before you take the plunge and make that crucial purchase.
Opening on Friday 8th April, Sunglass Hut shoppers will enjoy two days of launch celebrations, on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th April 12am – 3pm, with in-store DJs, complimentary Vitamin water, gift bags for the first 150 customers to visit the store and makeovers from Bare Escentuals throughout the weekend.
