Original fashion designs for men and women based on industrial and eastern influences

Marharishi was the brainchild of Hardy Blechman who started by taking camouflage clothing and adding embroidery and details to add a further dimension. He saw camouflage material as representing something natural, but it held negative connotations, namely war. His idea was to take this negative perception and break it down into something more positive.

The store started in Camden where the range garnered a large amount of interest. Marharishi moved to Covent Garden in 2001 and since then the range has expanded dramatically. Each piece is extremely original and the designs are now combined with industrial and eastern influences.

Marharishi represents the originality of some of the stores in Covent Garden.
