Snow and Rock opened in 1982 on Kensington High Street and was run by a group of skiers and climbers. The store offered the best equipment and clothing for outdoor sports and at the time the small team became the number one choice for Londoners.
Covent Garden houses Snow+Rock's flagship store which is set over four floors. Experts are on hand to kit out climbers, campers, trekkers and swimmers. The ski and snowboard equipment is seasonal, but a selection is kept over the summer. There is a floor dedicated to the lifestyle brands such as Quiksilver and Oakley. There is also an in house café which was one of Time Out's London finalists last year.
An original feature of this Snow +Rock is ‘Body Factor’ on the 4th floor. This is a rehabilitation centre for elite athletes and sports enthusiasts.
Treatments include physiotherapy, podiatry, osteopathy, sports massage and many more.
